Teaching Philosophy

I approach teaching as a connection between formal foundations and real computational problems. In mathematics, security, cryptography, and artificial intelligence, students should understand not only how a technique works, but also the assumptions, limitations, and consequences of using it.

Practical work, critical reading, discussion, and the construction of working prototypes complement the conceptual foundations of the courses.
